I made this ereader case all in the hoop project from Five Star Fonts.
Can anyone tell me why my other blog photos disappeared?

Annie Sloan cabinet makeover.
I got this old cabinet from my mom's cousin who we always called Aunt Joan because she was a sister to my mom in many ways.
I painted it with Annie Sloan's Emile (puple) paint and then a coat of white. Sanded it down to show the purple underneath. Etched the glass with hummingbirds, birdhouses and tree branches. Hobby Lobby knows with crystals in many different colors including purple. Much prettier in real life. It is hard to take a shabby chic picture!

Ereader for Kindle, Nook
My sister-in-law sent me this awesome sparkley peacock fabric and asked me to make her daughter an ereader. I quilted it in gold metallic thread which is hard to see in the photo.

Before N After
Cement sea horse bird bath that was in my Grandmother's yard. The top had broken years ago. I didn't like the sea horses but since it belonged to my grandmother.
I spray painted the sea horses black so they wouldn't stand out and set my orange planter on top of them. I think they are amazing now. The orange flowers in the planter will drape over the sides as summer progresses.

EReader Dr. Suess
Another Ereader I made for my cousin's daughter. I used glow in the dark thread for the quilting.
I hope she loves it.

I made these napkins for my girlfriend who is into Fairies. She is so creative and has several fairy gardens. She even made a fairy house out of an old tree stump, varnished it and put huge mushrooms on the stump for fairy rooms. Inside the tree stump she put stained glass windows and a light. Next week she is having a "Fairy" themed dinner for us girls!

EReader case for my SIL's bday
This is an "all in the hoop" Ereader case that I made for my SIL's birthday. She is an amazing quilter and sewer so I hope she likes it. It is like cooking for a master chef, very intimidating. But if she is like me she still loves when people do something special for her.

Dresser after
These are the dressers after we painted them white with a light grey drawers. Spray painted the drawer pulls. We might use the above dresser as a buffet.
This is the dresser before we painted it. The drawer handles were such an ugly color I almost threw them away. I'm so glad I tried spray painting them first.

Bon Voyage card
I made this card for my sister and her hubby. They are going on an Alaskan Cruise. I used the Cricut new CM Travel cartridge for the wave, Life's A Beach for the ship card pg. 77, for the penguin border I used Animal Kingdom cartridge pg. 55.
Spritzed the card with glitter spray.
I found the images on mycutsearch.com. Love their web site for searching items on the cricut cartridges.
Anniversary Card
I made this Anniversary card for a friend of mine using the Cricut Sweethearts cartridge pg. 70. I used sparkle paper for the glasses, cuttlebug embossing for the dots, Stampin up punch for the scalloped border.

Tutu purses for my granddaughter
These were so fun and easy to make. I bought the canvas bag from Hobby Lobby when it was half price and some rolls of tule and beaded ribbon. For these I chose Tinkerbell ribbon and also beaded ribbon. After I sewed the ribbon on I figured out that the ribbon was iron on! I could have just ironed it on first but oh well, now it is more secure!
The baby purse is for my grandbaby that is due any minute! IF it is a girl, otherwise Ruby gets two purses!

Burlap Pillow for front entry.
http://www.fabulesslycrafty.com/2011/04/spring-pillows-fat-quarters-burlap-and.html This is the inspirational web site for my burlap pillow. Just love Tara's creations! This pillow is 15 inches. I made the ruffles 2.5 inches wide using left over fabric. I stuffed the pillow with plastic bags. It is out of the wind and rain but I think it would be ok in the elements too. Hope you enjoy and please leave comments. Thank you!

Fairy Garden
There is a rope ladder going from the upper fairy garden to the lower garden. To make the rope ladded she used pieces of mulch from her landscape and twine.
